[UPDATED] Weekend of events planned at The Bay School Community Arts Center Feb. 22-23

Upcycled Fashion Show, Feb. 22, 6:30-8:30 p.m.,The Bay School Community Arts Center, 279 Main Street, Mathews.  Tickets are $10/person. Proceeds will go to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The upcycled wardrobe pieces will be snipped, stitched, gathered, painted, and paired to suit the style of the models, all of whom have had cancer impact their lives. 725-1278.

UPDATE: Portuguese Progressive Dinner moved to March 2, 5:30-8:30 p.m., The Bay School Community Arts Center, 279 Main Street, Mathews. Tickets are $125 for members, $135 for non-members. Proceeds will support The Bay School’s community art education programs. Cocktails and appetizers will be served in the Art Speaks Gallery. Afterwards, guests will progress to the White Dog Bistro for an authentic five-course Portuguese dinner prepared by award-winning Chef Walter Wilkes. The Bay School Community Arts Center is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide people of all ages and abilities the opportunities to learn, experience, and appreciate the arts.
