Tribute to Robert Burns slated January 25

The Kilmarnock & District Pipe Band

LANCASTER—The Kilmarnock & District Pipe Band will hold its annual afternoon “Tribute to Robert Burns” event January 25 at the Masonic Lodge #100, 1434 Good Luck Road, Kilmarnock.

The program will focus on a concert and entertainment with piping, singing, poetry and dancing, reported pipe major William Harrison. The event will offer snacks and set-ups to enhance edibles (BYOB) brought by the audience.

Doors will open at 1 p.m. and the program will begin at 2 p.m. Tickets are $35 each. Tickets are available at The Local in Irvington, Chesapeake Band in Kilmarnock and White Stone and Primus Bank in Burgess. Checks also can be mailed in by calling John at 577-3349.
