Upcoming B and B’s events include:

Mat Pilates with Valerie — 9:30 a.m. Tuesdays, Feb. 3, 10, 17 and 24. Mat Pilates is a total body conditioning exercise method combining flexibility and strength, using the weight of the body with control. The benefits are improved balance, posture and overall core strength.

Bring a mat and enjoy the causal setting. The 45- to 60-minute class is taught by Valerie Morgan, a well-trained and certified group exercise and personal trainer for more than 42 years, 32 of those years spent as a manager at a local wellness center. Course costs $10 per person, advance registration required.

Gloucester Daffodil Club Meeting — 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12. Gloucester has an ideal daffodil-growing climate, and historic varieties and modern cultivars flourish there. Bulbs planted in the fall can be relied upon to bloom in the spring, and well-tended plantings increase over the years. Membership is open to all interested people.

Four meetings are planned during the year on the second Thursday of February, May, September and November.

For information about the club, email gloucesterdaffodils@gmail.com.

Feb. 16 — Closed for Presidents Day.
