Tickets going fast for ‘Don’t Dress for Dinner’

While “Don’t Dress for Dinner” is all about mix-ups and confusion, it is clear that there are sold-out performances ahead for the upcoming comedy opening at The Lancaster Players Playhouse on March 7.

“At present, opening night and one matinee are sold-out,” said box office manager Susan Tempest. “Tickets are selling quickly so please do not wait to make plans to see this production.”

“Don’t Dress for Dinner,” by playwright Marc Camoletti and adapted by Robin Hawdon, continues the domestic catastrophes of their previous comedy, “Boeing-Boeing.” Director Rebecca Tebbs Nunn has assembled a cast of experienced actors and newcomers that features Bill Casey and Grace Emminizer-Davis as a married couple whose weekend plans are hilariously disrupted. Unexpected guests played by Silas Emminizer and Cameron Hope are joined by Amanda Schimmoller and Aaron Stevens as a Cordon Bleu cook and her husband.

Tickets are available for 8 p.m. performances March 8, 14, 15, 21 and 22.and Fridays and Saturdays, March 14-15 and 21-22 and 3 p.m. shows March 9 and 23.

Tickets are $30 and available at www.lancasterplayers.org or 435-3776. Groups of 15 receive a 10% discount when tickets are purchased together.
