YORKTOWN—There’s snow place like Historic Yorktown—even in the wintertime! Bundle up and head to Riverwalk Landing for Yorktown Market Days’ Winter Markets from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on March 14 and March 28.

Shoppers can warm up with a hot cup of coffee or a bowl of soup while browsing locally grown, produced and handcrafted goods, baked items, candles, soaps, scarves, mittens, spices and art. Food trucks also will be on site.
At the St. Patrick’s Day Winter Market on March 14, attendees are invited to try their luck at the Pot of Gold Coin Toss, make Leprechaun Bait, pick up a temporary tattoo, decorate a themed coloring page and enjoy performances by The Fifes & Drums of York Town and a bagpiper from the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office.
The official weekly Yorktown Market Days season will begin April 11 with the Go Green & Garden Market from 8 a.m.-noon. There will be several themed markets throughout 2026, many with extended hours, to appeal to niche groups within the community—from animal and antique enthusiasts to history and water lovers.
Free parking is available at the Riverwalk Landing Parking Terrace, York Hall, YorkPoquoson Courthouse, County Administration Building and other designated public parking lots.
The complimentary, wheelchair accessible Yorktown Trolley will be available for all scheduled markets, including the Winter Markets, with several convenient stops throughout town. On Winter Market days, the Trolley will operate from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
