Northern Neck Beach Music Festival slated September 13

WESTMORELAND—The Colonial Beach Community Foundation and the Colonial Beach Chamber of Commerce are teaming up to present the seventh annual Northern Neck Beach Music Festival, a two-day celebration of live music, great food, and community spirit.

The festival will be held from 11:30 a.m.-5 p.m. September 13 and 14 at Town Hill Park in Colonial Beach.

This annual fundraising event supports the foundation’s community programs and initiatives, bringing together residents and visitors for a weekend of dancing, delicious food, cold beverages and fun raffles—including a chance to win $5,000, reported Michele Inderrieden.

The Saturday schedule includes:

11:30 a.m., Feature Attraction Band (FAB). Back for their fifth year, this award-winning group from Southside Virginia and Northern North Carolina delivers blues, Southern soul, Carolina beach, rhythm and blues and rock.
2 p.m., Chris Sacks Band. Making their Colonial Beach debut, this group brings a tropical flair with “What Would Jimmy Buffett Do?” style.

The Sunday schedule includes:

11:30 a.m., River Rock. This nine-piece band from Southern Maryland with a mix of rhythm and blues and Motown classics.
2 p.m., Band of Oz. This Carolina tradition for 50 years is one of the most well-known and successful groups in the Southeast.

Food, beer, wine, sodas and water will be available for purchase inside the gates. Outside food, beverages and coolers are not permitted. Attendees must bring a valid ID to purchase alcohol. Wristbands allow re-entry throughout the day.

Early Bird tickets are on sale through September 1. For ticket pricing and information visit https://givebutter.com/nnbeachmusic2025.
