The Link community golf tournament will tee off at Golden Eagle

LANCASTER—Area golfers have an opportunity to support Linking Hope and Help Inc. (The Link) at a golf tournament October 29 at the Golden Eagle Golf Course near Irvington.

The tournament is sponsored by Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Campbell Memorial Presbyterian Church and Grace Episcopal Church.

The format will be Captain’s choice with a shotgun start. Prizes will be awarded for top three, closest to the pin and longest drive. Fees are individual, $80; and team, $300. Fees cover greens and cart, practice range, and a box lunch distributed at the beginning of the tournament. A cash beverage cart also will be available.

Registration and range practice will be held from 9:30-10:30 a.m., followed by tournament announcements. Competition will begin at 11 a.m.

To sponsor a hole or prizes, contact The Link president Tom Coye at tomcoye@hotmail.com. To participate, call Golden Eagle professional Don Nelson at 438-4460.

“This tournament is an important assist for our ministry. This is The Link’s 11th year assisting individuals and families find the help they need,” said Coye. “We are committed to helping families stay in their homes.”
