NORTHUMBERLAND—Area youth can unleash their creativity at one of two summer camps August 4-8 at the Reedville Fishermen’s Museum, 504 Main Street, Reedville.
Art camp, for ages 6 and older, will be offered from 10 a.m.-noon, reported public relations volunteer Tina McCloud. Boat model building camp, for ages 10 and older, will be offered from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., with a 30-minute break for lunch (bring your own).
The boat model building class will again be led by Bob Dillon, a volunteer in the model train shop for many years. First-year campers will construct a boat model called a Chesapeake Bay Flattie. Repeat campers will build a more complicated design, Dillon said.
Each camp is $100 per child. Register at 453-6529, director@rfmuseum.org or office@museum.org.
