RICHMOND COUNTY—Organizers at Oyster Shoals Music Hall, 187 Main Street, Warsaw, recently announced that Grammy-nominated bluegrass artists The Po’ Ramblin’ Boys will be headed to Warsaw on Friday, July 11, for a 7 p.m. show.

The music of The Po’ Ramblin’ Boys cuts right through the noise of the world and speaks plainly to the soul. Formed in the Smoky Mountains, The Po’ Ramblin’ Boys are at once exactly what one would expect and not at all what one would expect from an East Tennessee Bluegrass outfit.

No strangers to hard work, the boys are as much at home riding in their 1965 GM Tour bus as they are crawling underneath to fix it when it needs maintenance. But they take pride in being ambassadors of Tennessee bluegrass, and the group has brought their music from rural festival stages to playing to eager fans around the world with stellar results.

The band was recognized as Emerging Artist of the Year at the IBMA Bluegrass Music Awards in Raleigh and has been nominated multiple times for IBMA’s Entertainer of the Year award. Their record “Toil, Tears & Trouble” was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Bluegrass Album.

Tickets are $25. Purchase tickets at www.oystershoals.com.
