Love Light celebration set for Dec. 7

It’s again that time of the year to get into the holiday spirit. By now folks in the Deltaville/Hardyville community should have received a Love Light flyer in their mailbox.

The Lower Middlesex Volunteer Fire Department (LMVFD) Auxiliary will present the 37th annual Christmas Love Lights celebration on Sunday, Dec. 7. Watch for Santa Claus riding on a LMVFD fire truck cruising through Deltaville and Hardyville between 3:30 and 5:30 p.m. Dec. 7. After he finishes his afternoon tour, you can see him that evening at Stephen Blue’s Deltaville Lights display at 16598 General Puller Highway in Deltaville.

There will be free hot chocolate and cookies provided by the auxiliary. This celebration of lights is a way for the community to show its appreciation for the volunteer firefighters and for folks, as individuals, to honor and remember their loved ones.
