Kilmarnock & District Pipe Band to host Tribute to Robert Burns Jan. 31

LANCASTER—The Kilmarnock & District Pipe Band will hold its annual Tribute to Robert Burns event Saturday, January 31, at the Palestine Lodge #100, 1434 Goodluck Road, Kilmarnock. Doors will open at 1 p.m. and the program will begin at 2 p.m.

The program will focus on a concert and entertainment with piping, singing, poetry, dancing and door prizes, reported pipe major William Harrison. The bring-your-own bottle event will offer snacks and set-ups to enhance edibles brought by the audience.

Tickets are $30 each. Tickets are available at The Local, Irvington; Chesapeake Bank, Kilmarnock and White Stone; and Primus Bank, Burgess. Checks can also be mailed by calling John at 577-3349. Tickets will be mailed back to senders.
