Do you make the best chili in the world? All chili chefs are invited to enter the 12th annual Dan Gill Bodacious Chili Cook-Off, which is set for Saturday, Feb. 14, at Something Different restaurant at 213 Virginia Street in Urbanna.
Setup begins at 8 a.m., registration is at 9 a.m., gates open at noon and winners are announced at 3 p.m. There is no entry fee, and they’ve increased the prize money to make it more exciting — first prize is $500, second prize is $250 and third prize is $75.
If you’re not cooking chili, come to Something Different to enjoy delicious chili, vote for the area’s best, and enjoy your favorite beverages and music.
The rain or shine event is offered through the Urbanna Business Association.
