RICHMOND COUNTY—Rappahannock Church of Christ, 4324 Richmond Road, Warsaw, will host the 19th annual Josh Baughan Ride-In/Cruise-In Saturday, June 7.
The event will benefit Addison Balderson of Deltaville, who was born on February 11 with cystic fibrosis. Addi is the daughter of TJ and Brooke Balderson and the little sister of twins Ava and Ella. She has been in the hospital in Richmond since her birth, for three months, and has undergone two surgeries with another planned. TJ is a Warsaw native and Brooke grew up in Burgess. Both are teachers in Middlesex County public schools.
Ride-in/cruise-in gates will open at 9 a.m., a worship service will begin at 10 a.m., followed by door prize drawings and a free lunch. Musical entertainment will be presented inside the church and on the grounds.
Motorcycles and classic and collector cars and trucks are welcome.
Although entry is free, donations are encouraged. Proceeds will help Addi and her family.
Cystic fibrosis primarily affects the lungs and digestive system. The exocrine system of sufferers produces an abnormal amount of excessively thick mucus within the lungs, airways and digestive system.
