Soul Train Fashion Show set for March 11 at SCW

Game Changers of Middlesex’s Soul Train Fashion Show is set for 2-5 p.m. Saturday, March 11, at St. Clare Walker (SCW) Middle School at 6814 General Puller Highway (Route 33) in Locust Hill. Tickets are on sale for $10 each and can be purchased from Minister Davelin Gresham (539-2791), Linda Young (296-6357), or Frankie Acree (296-2382). “Tickets are going fast so we encourage everyone to get them as soon as possible,” an organizer said.

Categories for modeling include clothing in these areas:

  • Casual and party wear
  • Prom attire
  • Hats
  • Playtime clothing
  • Diva wear for the ladies
  • Menswear for the mature men known as Silver Foxes

Food and merchandise vendors will be there, and drawings will take place for door prizes. “Come out and enjoy an evening with friends, fun, music, and good food,” an organizer said.

The proceeds from this event will benefit nonprofit organizations that help the community.
