Ticket sales are underway for The Lancaster Players mystery/comedy, “What Is ‘Murder’?” by Ken Levine.
Box office manager Susan Tempest encourages patrons to make reservations early. “We want our patrons to be able to secure seats at their favorite tables. Soon after our most recent plays opened, we were not able to satisfy preferences due to sold out performances,” said Tempest.
Evening performances of What Is “Murder”? by Ken Levine are slated for 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, June 6-7, 13-14 and 20-21. Sunday matinees will begin at 3 p.m. on June 8, 15 and 22. The Playhouse, at 361 Chesapeake Drive, White Stone, will open one hour prior to curtain for a social hour and cash bar.
Tickets are $30, and groups of 15 or more receive a 10% discount when purchased together. Purchase tickets at boxoffice@lancasterplayers.org, or 436-3776.
The cast features newcomer Phoebe Hollingsworth as one of four former Jeopardy! champions preparing for an upcoming Tournament of Champions. Frederick Johnson, Lisa Mallory and Rick Schurtz portray fellow champions who are equally determined to win the match. When one of them is murdered, it is up to Bill Casey, as Detective Clennard, to determine the guilty party.
