The Original Rhondels to present Rockin’ the Holidays December 8
Rollie Ligart, trumpeter for The Original Rhondels and former member of a Boys & Girls Club in his youth, invites the community to Rock the Holidays December 8 at the Boys & Girls Club of the Northern Neck Activities Center, 517 North Main Street, Kilmarnock.
Doors will open at 7 p.m. The performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. and end at 10:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 if purchased through November 23, or $20. A table for eight can be reserved for $174 through November 23, or $190.
“In August 2017, and again in March of this year, we had to turn people away at the door, so purchase your tickets early,” said executive director Phillip Mumford. Tickets should be purchased online before December 6 at bgcnn.com. Tickets also may be purchased at 435-9696, or the office from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
“We are excited to have the Rhondels back,” said Mumford. “The Original Rhondels defined the sound of their era—a combination of beach music, Motown and swing. December 8 will be an opportunity to rekindle that flame, dance and relive the beach music era.”
Beer and wine will be available for purchase along with a limited snack menu.
